Working with Models

This past weekend I had the privlage to work with professional models and to shoot with my friend Chrissie of craysor photography. We are both part of the Delaware Artistic Photography Group and this was our first time working with this group and I hope it will not be the last. We were blessed with beautiful weather and location...I just wish the heat and humidity had broken before the shoot though. Thanks Derek, Rashida, Gina and Joey for being such troopers.

What Little Girls Are Made Of

This little darling is the daughter of a good friend of mine and she was such a pleasure to photograph. We almost were rained out but the rain stopped within ten minutes and we were able to get some beautiful shots. Jennifer's Girls

This past week I had the pleasure to photograph two of the cutest little girls. I met their mom of all places in A.C. Moore. She and I started talking and low and behold she was a photographer too. So we set up a playdate and met at a local park. Matty and the girls had a blast running around and playing all the while being chased by their crazy photographer moms :-) Jen, I can't thank you enough for letting me photograph your girls. They are two of the sweetest children I've ever met.

Watermarks and Name Change

Due to people on my photo forums stealing photos from websites, blogs and postings I'm going to watermarking all my photos from now on. I am also going to be changing the name of my blog and business. Dave has given me the idea of using his Blog title of "Leave it to Me" as my photography business name.

So here it is my new watermark with my new business name.

Daily Walk

It was such a beautiful morning the other day that I decided to take Matty with me to the Preserve to go for a walk. He had a great time running through the grass and being in that wide open space.

Longwood Garden's International Orchid Show '07

For the past two years my mom and I have taken one Saturday a year to go to Longwood Garden's International Orchid Show. This year it was held earlier than usual, while all the orchids were beautiful they were not as vibrant as in years past. It also didn't help that the conservatory was a bit on the cool side. Most orchids tend to like warm humid places though there are some that grow in Alaska. But enough of my rambling here are some of my favorite pics.

Last Piece of Winter

While I was outside taking Matty's picture I found some leaves that I just had to photograph. I did a little post processing work on this to make it a little more interesting.

Yes this picture is supposed to be a silhouette. I metered off the sky to get them this dark...and some photoshop too.

The Good Husband

My husband brought me flowers the other day. I took pictures of the whole bouquet but this is my favorite one that I've edited so thus far.
